Quick Help

Frequently Asked Questions

Choose your product for quick answers about setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Humidifier

How do I set up my Clarston humidifier?

Place the humidifier on a stable, water-resistant surface. Fill the tank according to your model's instructions, install all components securely, and connect the unit to power.

What type of water should I use?

Follow your model's user manual. Distilled or purified water may help reduce mineral buildup, especially in hard-water areas.

How often should I clean my humidifier?

Empty standing water regularly and follow the cleaning schedule in your user manual. Cleaning frequency may vary with use and water quality.

How do I remove mineral buildup?

Regular cleaning with white vinegar, as directed in your product manual, can help remove and prevent mineral scale. Distilled water may also reduce future buildup.

Why is my humidifier not producing mist?

Check the water level, power connection, component installation, and selected settings. Clean the unit according to your user manual if buildup is present.

Why is water leaking from the bottom?

Possible causes include filling above the MAX line, emptying from the wrong side instead of the “DRAIN SIDE,” or blocking the air inlet with carpet or towels. Keep below the MAX line, empty only from the “DRAIN SIDE,” and place the unit on a flat, hard surface.

Why are water droplets forming on top of my humidifier?

Mist may condense when it cannot disperse. Keep the unit at least 24 inches (60 cm) from walls, bedding, and electronics, use a lower mist level or shorter runtime, and allow air to circulate.

Filtered Shower Head

How do I install the filtered shower head?

Turn off the water, remove the existing shower head, and attach the Clarston bracket, hose, and shower head to the G1/2-inch connection. Make sure the washers are seated, tighten each connection securely, and check for leaks.

How do I switch between spray modes?

Use the selector on the shower head to switch between the available spray and turbo rinse modes. Change modes while the water is running to find your preferred setting.

How often should I replace the filter cartridge?

Replace the filter cartridge every 2–3 months. The exact timing may vary depending on water quality and frequency of use.

How do I replace the filter cartridge?

Turn off the water flow, remove the used cartridge, insert the new cartridge narrow end first, and push it in until it is fully seated before use.

Which replacement cartridge should I use?

Use a Clarston replacement cartridge designed for the Clarston Filtered Shower Head (Model CLSH01). Check the model information before ordering.

Why is water leaking from a connection?

Turn off the water and check that each washer is seated and every threaded connection is aligned and securely tightened. Reinstall the connection if needed, and contact support if any part is cracked or damaged.

Are filter cartridges covered by the warranty?

No. Filter cartridges are not covered by the warranty. If a cartridge is missing or arrives damaged, please contact Clarston Support.
